Good Afternoon!

My name is Margaret Robinson and I am a Program Manager for a department called CAMELOT at The James Comprehensive Cancer Center in Columbus, Ohio. We manage programming for cancer research education for the CCC. I am excited to bring to you an opportunity for high school girls interested in healthcare, science, and/or cancer research.

We have partnered with the American Cancer Society and four other cancer centers across the nation to bring the SHE (Summer Healthcare in Oncology) program to girls in our area. This is a 2-week, virtual program where the girls will connect with students and researchers from across the country to learn about the biology of cancer, healthcare, and other professional development topics. This is our second summer managing this program and we are ready to expand outside of Columbus.

Details:

  • Two weeks, July 10-July 21, M-F
  • Girls must be online for 4.5 hours each day of the program
  • Can earn up to $500 for participation in the program, paid by American Cancer Society
  • Must identify as female
