Vaccine Requirements for 2021-22 for 7th grade and 12th Grade.
The Green Local School District will hold a special meeting on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at 5:30 PM in the High School Library for the purpose of appointing a new Board of Education member and any other action the Board deems necessary.
If you would like to be considered, please submit a letter of interest to the Board of Education office no later than 4:00 PM on Friday, October 8th.
It's Homecoming Spirit Week!! Show your school spirit by participating in the themed days. They are as follows:
Monday -- Generation Day
Tuesday -- Dress for Success (Picture Day - forms were sent home last week)
Wednesday -- Celebrity Day (Dress like your favorite celebrity)
Thursday -- Switch It Up (students dress like one of the teachers or staff members & teachers dress like one of the students)
Friday -- Pink Out (Breast Cancer Awareness)

On Monday/Tuesday, the attached flyer (order form) was given to each student at Green Local. If your student has not brought it home, they can stop by the office to pick one up, parents/guardians may call the appropriate office to give the name and size needed or print and return the attached flyer.
Each student in PK-12 will receive a FREE t-shirt to wear on the day of the groundbreaking. Please complete the order form and have the student return to their homeroom/advisory teacher on or before Friday, October 1.
If additional family members would like to purchase extra shirts, they will be available for purchase at a cost of $20 each. Money will be due upon receipt of the shirt(s). Again, call the office or print and return the form. Make sure to note the quantity needed by the correct size.

Potter’s House is having a job fair next month on October 13th, from 1-4p. Juniors and seniors are invited to attend.
Congratulations to the Green Varsity Golf Team! Landon Kimbler shot a 52 winning the match against Clay while Kiefer McCalvin shot a career best 54. Also, Brennan Renison shot a 66 representing the Jr. High.

There will be a FREE Covid-19 vaccination clinic tomorrow @ the Green Local meeting house beside the high school.
This in partnership with the Scioto County Health Department from 12:30-3p. Ohio Medicaid/MyCare members 12 & older receive a $100 gift card.
Green Local Schools will host a "Vax on the Spot" location on our campus Tuesday, September 21 from 12:30-3:30p for those wanting to get a free Covid-19 vaccination.

Herff Jones was here yesterday, September 7th to distribute class ring packages to Freshmen and Sophomores. Additionally, Herff Jones brought senior packets for cap and gowns, announcements, etc. If you did not receive a packet and would like to place an order, please come to the HS office to get a packet. Herff Jones will be back on Sept 20 during advisory to collect orders. Down payments are due at that time.
