Special thanks to Shawnee State University and our friend, Austin Raines, today for hosting mock interviews for our juniors and seniors in College Career Readiness class. Students were interviewed by a panel of 3 interviewers on two separate occasions to sharpen their skills.

Special thanks to Desco for providing our Seniors and some Juniors with the annual financial Reality Fair. Students chose career fields with an associated salary; they were then able to visit various booths ranging from mortgages to pets with the goal of budgeting their monthly incomes.
There will be a CCP (College Credit Plus) student/parent meeting on December 14 at 6:00pm in the Alumni Library for those students who are interested in taking College Credit Plus courses next year. This is a state-mandated meeting that applies to any student currently enrolled in CCP courses (even those at Green) and wishing to take more classes or any student who wishes to begin their CCP journey next school year.
We will have a Shawnee State representative here to discuss information to make sure you and your student are fully prepared for college courses. It is very important for you and your child to attend this meeting; this is a big step into their future and we want to help ensure their success!
