Today's district semi-final baseball game against Trimble (at Logan High School) has been postponed due to heavy rain. It will be played Saturday, May 31 at 10am at Logan High School. The district final will be held on Sunday, June 1 at 2pm at the Veteran's Memorial Field in Chillicothe.

The FAFSA, a federal post-secondary admission requirement, opens Dec. 1. In order to complete the FAFSA, both the student and parent will need to establish a FSA ID (here is the link on how to establish a FSA ID - https://studentaid.gov/sites/default/files/creating-using-fsaid.pdf) GHS will host a FAFSA completion night for any senior and senior parent who needs assistance on January 29, 2025 at 6 pm in the Cafetorium. CCP Informational Meeting There will be an informational CCP meeting for ALL students interested in taking CCP courses for the 2025-2026 school year on January 8, 2025 at 6:00pm in the Cafetorium. (Thanks to Mr. King and Mrs. Knapp for working with us to get a date that accommodates both basketball teams to get those students here.) This meeting is required for any new CCP students and highly recommended for any current CCP students as there may be changes forthcoming for the next school year. Jasmine Curry, from Shawnee State University, will be here to discuss the CCP/dual credit program as well as be available to answer any questions you may have. Hello, my name is Mylee Hunt and I am a senior at Green High School this year and as a senior we have something called a Senior Initiative Project. For my project I chose to have a Miss Bobcat Pageant for our elementary students. The profit I gain from this will be going to Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Why Nationwide? I chose this hospital as my fund recipient because they took wonderful care of my little sister, Miranda, as she was growing up. Miranda has a genetic lung disease called Cystic Fibrosis. This has affected her in many ways as she has grown up but throughout these struggles Nationwide Children’s Hospital has taken amazing care of her and for this I couldn’t be more thankful and this is why I chose them as my focus. In order to bless families during the holiday season, the Green High School Beta Club has decided to host a food drive. All items that are donated will be used to create holiday food baskets. These baskets will be given to families in our school district so that they are able to have and prepare a holiday meal. Each grade level will be assigned specific items to bring in. The food drive will run from Monday, November 4th to Friday, November 15th. The grade level that brings in the most items will receive a pizza party!

Thank you to our HS Impact Prevention group and Key Club for organizing the kick-off to Red Ribbon Week today! Grades K-6 participated in their events in relation to how important it is to have a healthy drug-free lifestyle. More festivities to come next week!

Varsity Football tonight at home against East. Game time is 7pm. Senior Night will be tonight also. Lineup will begin at 5:50 with the ceremony to begin at 6pm. Hope to see everyone there.
