Green Local will be on a 2-hour delay tomorrow (Feb. 22) with limited transportation.
Roads without transportation will follow: Cartro, Snook, Franklin Hollow, Carver, Stevens/Gullett, German Hollow, Coal Bank, Winkler/Rock Hollow, Junior Road (combo of road conditions & downed phone line)
This will be re-evaluated in the morning based on overnight temps & rain/refreezing.
Students without trans. should do remote learning.
A special “shout out” to the Lady Bobcats Basketball Team. These players and coaches have been through a tremendous amount this year. It’s wonderful to see their hard work, dedication, and perseverance pay off. Congratulations!

The High School Basketball Homecoming ceremony scheduled for Friday, February 19th has been postponed. The new date is Friday, February 26th at 1pm.
Green Local and the CTC are already virtual on Fridays. That will continue tomorrow.
There is no onsite "internet cafe" tomorrow (Feb. 19).

There is no bus service to the CTC today. This is confirmed as a "non-absence" with no penalties for students.
If you typically drive to the CTC, the same allowance is made for you (non-absence).
The main concern is the timing of a ride/drive home.
Out of an abundance of caution, Green Local Schools are on a 2 hour delay.
The snow line and morning route timing are concerning. Thank you.

The first 100 surveys are in. As of the time of this posting, we are at 81.3% YES on a PK-5 expanded schedule and 84.2% YES on a 6-12 expanded schedule.
