On Friday, November 10, the Green junior and senior high school paid tribute to the veteran's in honor of Veteran's Day. The faculty, staff, and students would like to thank all of our past and current military members for their dedication and service.

There will be a CCP (College Credit Plus) student/parent meeting on December 14 at 6:00pm in the new HS Cafetorium for those students who are interested in taking College Credit Plus courses next year. This is a state-mandated meeting that applies to any student currently enrolled in CCP courses (even those at Green) and wishing to take more classes or any student who wishes to begin their CCP journey next school year.
We will have a Shawnee State representative here to discuss information to make sure you and your student are fully prepared for college courses. It is very important for you and your child to attend this meeting; this is a big step into their future and we want to help ensure their success!

Green High School Beta Club, in conjunction with the American Red Cross, will be hosting a Blood Drive in the high school gymnasium on Tuesday, April 18. Click on the following link to schedule an appointment between 8:30a-2:00p. There are many appointments left and walk-ins are welcome!

GIRL'S BASKETBALL NEWS: The varsity girls will host Corning Miller in an OHSAA tournament game on February 13. Tip-off is 7p. Tickets will be sold at the following link: https://www.ohsaa.org/tickets -- choose Southeast 2 (Division IV).
IMPORTANT BASKETBALL NEWS -- The Boys' home game (and Senior Night) scheduled for Friday, February 3 against New Boston has been moved to February 10. Tip-off for JV game is 6p, Senior Night between games, followed by the varsity game.
The Girls will host Miller in an OHSAA tournament game on 2/13.
Homecoming permission slips are now in the office for grades 9-12. (CTC Juniors and Seniors may send a message to christi.gaffney@greenbobcats.org to request it.) Homecoming will be on Friday, January 20th against Clay. Once you have returned your permission slip, you may put your name on the signup form. Signups will go from this afternoon through Monday at noon. Voting will take place on Tuesday morning. Once all initial votes are in, voting will take place for queen, princess and senior attendant.
Picture RETAKE day will be Thursday, December 8th starting at 9a.
