Just a reminder that tonight the Varsity Girl’s Volleyball team will be in semi-final sectional tournament play at home against Belpre. This is the first time in the school’s history that we have hosted a tournament game in volleyball. FYI — Golden Bobcat cards, SOC passes and school achievement cards will not be accepted. The cost to get in is $5.

Green Local will do an annually required evacuation drill tomorrow morning (Monday, September 30) at approximately 9:35 AM. This will be in partnership with the Green Township Volunteer Fire Department and Scioto County Sheriff’s Department. Students and Staff will relocate/walk to our immediate off-site locations. For safety purposes, traffic will be blocked at all applicable intersections while students are walking (approximately 10-15 minutes each direction).
This is the scenario we will PRACTICE:
1. Major gas leak that requires evacuation from the campus
2. Reunification at the offsite locations; (“reunification” refers to our procedures for safely and efficiently dismissing students to their families from a site away from the school).
Your patience and understanding are greatly appreciated during this safety drill. Christi Gaffney and I (Jodi Armstrong) will update families throughout the drill via our App, Facebook, and Remind/Text.
If you have time, we would appreciate you sharing this information. That will help prepare and calm community members who do not receive school updates when they see first responders on-site tomorrow. Thank you!

There has been an additional game scheduled for Jr. high football on October 31 against South Gallia starting at 6pm.
There WILL NOT be a jr. high volleyball game on September 25 against St. Joe. They do not have a team.
