We have been notified of 3 elementary school student "close contact" quarantines, 4 high school student "close contact" quarantines, and 2 staff member "close contact" quarantines. As of the time of this posting, none of these individuals have tested positive for COVID-19. No further actions/quarantines are necessary; however, we will continue to work with the health department and monitor the situation. More information is available on the district website as follows:

Students riding bus #22 (Sherry's bus) will experience a delay in pickup on Monday, 11/9 and Tuesday, 11/10. Any questions, contact the elementary at 740-354-9290 or the board office at 740-354-9291.
There will be a CCP (College Credit Plus) meeting on December 8 at 6:00pm in the HS Cafeteria. Any student grades 8-11 who is interested in enrolling in CCP classes MUST attend this meeting with their parent/guardian. Students are not permitted to enroll into CCP classes if this meeting is not attended.

Today, The Heisman Trophy Trust and Acceptance Insurance announced Ms. Ava Jenkins the 2020 Green High School Winner for the Heisman High School Scholarship presented by Acceptance Insurance. Ava will continue on for the chance to become a State Winner, National Finalist or National Winner.
Congratulations to Ava for her hard work both inside and outside of the classroom!

The Green Local Board of Education will hold a Special Meeting on Tuesday, November 3rd at 9:00 AM in the Superintendent's Office for the purpose of considering a resolution to authorize the Board to implement and administer a Chromebook sub-grant program utilizing a portion of the County's CARES Act allotment.
