Today is the last day for current sophomores to request a spot for the October 23 meeting with the Scioto County Career and Technical Center (CTC). The meeting will begin at 9am. Please contact Mrs. Merrill-Riffe at emerrill@greenbobcats.org to request a spot for this meeting by Oct. 16. We can provide bus transportation upon request for students, if needed.

Dear Bobcat Nation, As we approach the demolition of Green Primary (the old High School), I am asking that you send me pictures of your time in that building. It could be anything from a basketball game or dance in the gym to classroom events during your school days. That building certainly holds a lot of memories. I will put a selection of those photos together in a slide show and add to our social media accounts. Please email those to me by Friday, November 6. The Jr. Class has started fundraising for the 2020-21 Jr./Sr. Prom. Their first fundraiser is Simply Sheets. They are mainly doing online orders, but will take in-person/paper orders if necessary. On October 9 starting at 8:00am, Green High School will be administering the ASVAB test. Since current seniors did not get to take the test last school year, this test will be open to current seniors and juniors. We would recommend all seniors and juniors take this test as the military path may be an alternate plan in the future and this test would be needed. Please contact Mrs. Merrill-Riffe at: emerrill@greenbobcats.org to get test tickets prepared by this Friday, Oct. 2. We can provide transportation if needed during this day; please RSVP by Oct. 2

Scioto Co. is now in the "Red" designation. This does not impact our operations. We are approved to and will remain on the 50/50 schedule.

Congratulations to Josh Hammond!! He finished his senior year regular season of golf shooting a season best 39 at the Elks Country Club. Best of luck Josh as you go into sectionals next Wednesday at Franklin Valley. Also congratulations to freshman Kiefer McCalvin on a great first season he finished the final hole of the year with a double bogey.

The Green Golf team traveled to Little Scioto Golf Course where Senior Josh Hammond shot a 48 and Freshman Kiefer McCalvin posted a bogey. Green will travel to the Elks Country Club on Wednesday, September 24 to take on Valley.
