There will be a CCP (College Credit Plus) student/parent meeting on December 14 at 6:00pm in the new HS Cafetorium for those students who are interested in taking College Credit Plus courses next year. This is a state-mandated meeting that applies to any student currently enrolled in CCP courses (even those at Green) and wishing to take more classes or any student who wishes to begin their CCP journey next school year. We will have a Shawnee State representative here to discuss information to make sure you and your student are fully prepared for college courses. It is very important for you and your child to attend this meeting; this is a big step into their future and we want to help ensure their success!

Red Ribbon Week activities for grades K-12 were organized by the high school Impact Prevention group. Many activities such as Wear Red, Career Duo day, and Name that Tune were just a few. Mr. Seidel's advisory group were the winners in the high school and selected to pie Mr. King in the face as their reward. Mr Seidel’s advisory was the winning group and selected Mr King to get pied.

Congratulations to the following students for earning 4th place during the annual University of Rio Grande Business Competition Day: Katie Musick, Maya McCoy, Maddie Lewis, Brice Chaney, Bella Fannin and Kaitlyn Lawson.

The first 9-Weeks will end on Friday, October 27th. Students will have an early dismissal and will be released at 1pm.

There will be a webinar on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 from 6:30 – 8pm. This webinar is for parents and students who are looking at options for post-secondary education.

Friday, October 6 is homecoming. The Bobcats will play South Gallia at 7p. The homecoming ceremony will take place prior to the game at 6:30p. Congratulations to Freshman Kayleigh Evans Sophomore Makayla Beal Junior Cadence Fletcher Seniors Morgan Caruthers and Ryleigh McDavid. Queen and Princess will be announced at the ceremony.
